March 2024: Goodbye Student Loans!
Main goals
Start working on emergency fund together with SO's student loans.
Major developments
Wow, it's finally happened!
It feels sooo surreal, but almost 4 years after I took out my first student loans in my life, I have finally paid them all off. Feels insane! A weight has definitely lifted off of my shoulders, and I worry less about my status in this country.
Now, as layoffs are still rampant in the job market, I've decided to continue to sock away the same amount we have every month towards my SO's student loans, and then concurrently build up our 3-month emergency fund into a 6-month one to build more security.
